I am inspired by those knitted stars. But it suits me better to paint them. I found a book with them, which all have names. Here is a small piece of Katinka.

Sometimes I can see birds in there.
I think about all the importence of "feeding" the artist to be able to give to other people in your life. My art work tend to talk a lot about the struggle to run a life with work, family and being an artist at the same time :) I like the Swedish expression "Kitchen sink realism" -- This is my theme nowadays
The paper-part of this Moly has the programming language Php "sentence", a reminder of what I want...

I´m back again, feels good! This is my latest contribution to Elizabet´s book "Silver, guld och spets"("Silver, gold and lace") It´s about Home as a war zone. The knife, camouflaged with lace, cuts a surface or an existence in two, draw a line between good or bad. Saturday morning: the outbreak of war. /Lisa

I´m continueing with theme: climate

…the word effect made me think of warp effect and put together with climate the result is backwardness`s effect, as a pendang to the technique.

I´m wondering how long is "the delay"…?

Stars and stripes, circles and squares

My position was Lisa´s "Save our Souls". I like the words and the meanings in the sentence.

Souls in trubbel. A prayer, for help. My first idea was flags.

Flags could be a signal for "here we are" "I'm here" 

Passing through quiet remains

Dear friends! Here comes a few more letters of my ABC-book. The technique is collage and ink and the theme...well, to be or not to be. The two clocks on the left above the letter P are from a "baby´s first book" from when I was born. My mother filled in the exact time of my birth on the left clockface. The little sun below indicates that I was born in the daytime. The right clockface is emty and can in this context be interpreted as the time of my death, not yet written... /Lisa

Stripes... a road... lines... endless or ending.

I´m fascinated of stripes and right now of pictures
that are "empty". The world is over and over full of
pictures everywhere. My mind needs rest...
...and why not whith the non-colors gold and silver.

autobiographical point.

* I´m a mother.
* As my youngest doughters favourite book says "we are all naked under the clothes", but in this case I also refer to my stress-caused disease "alopecia areata" that have made me loose spots of hair.
* And there allways seems to be something to be worried about.

Crocheted Top Competence & pop-up in Elizabets Lace, silver & gold Moly

The Swedish word for "lace" has also the same meaning as the word "top, skill,excellence" Top skill competence = lace competence..(?).. The word "SILVER" pops up when you open the Moly. Collage technique: gold paint, crochet, embroidery & paper pop up.

All thick and nice ready to be sent of to Elizabeth. Now the Moly's has travelled one full circle. We have decided to send them one more round to fill them up!

Symbols

Here is a landscape with expression from scrapbooks. I´ve found symbols in the advertising and on products. I saw this swedish flags besides products from Bauhaus and it was no explanation why it is good because it was a swedish supplier. Ok, the drill (it was a drill) has not carried so far from here.

Hello, finally I´m finnished with the picture in Maria´s book about the climate.
Here I have done a paraphrase from an old symbol I was growing up with. Håll Sverige rent. It's still of great importance in the foundation "Håll sverige rent".
Now I know why I should keep going to the gym, I must build sronger embroider-muscles.
